Abstract

Nanomedicine has revolutionized cancer treatment by enabling targeted drug delivery and improving therapeutic efficacy while minimizing side effects. The application of nanoparticles in cancer therapy, commonly referred to as targeted drug delivery, has garnered considerable interest in recent years. This review explores the latest advancements in nanomedicine for cancer therapy, focusing on the development of nanoparticle-based delivery systems, their mechanisms of action, and their clinical implications. In addition, the article highlights the challenges faced in the translation of nanomedicine from preclinical to clinical settings and the future prospects of this promising field. Current trends indicate the growing potential of personalized cancer treatment using nanomedicines, particularly in overcoming issues like drug resistance and improving patient outcomes.
